We work as a team, supporting each other as we create content and speak at events, both together and individually. Our prayer is that by combining our unique talents, knowledge, and skills, the Lord multiplies the impact for His glory.
About Heritage and Hope
Alex Bowen, founder, Heritage & Hope
Alex founded Heritage & Hope in 2024, launching the ministry with a focus on digital outreach and public speaking. Alongside growing a YouTube channel and website, Alex has actively engaged in leading small group Bible studies, preaching at churches and vespers, evangelism within his local community, and contributing to Sunday Law Update panel discussions.
Recognizing the need for concrete historical evidence to affirm the truth of the Sabbath—and to challenge claims that the sacred day has changed—Alex initiated our collection of rare documents. His acquisitions include the Decretum Gratiani, pages from the Geneva Bible, the St. Bartholomew's Massacre coin, and other significant texts, each shedding light on the authenticity of Sabbath observance throughout history.
James Bowen, founder, Biblical Hope
James began his YouTube channel, Biblical Hope, in 2020. Since then, he has become a sought-after speaker, with a variety of guest appearances and preaching engagements. He also serves as a moderator in several religion-focused forums, fostering meaningful dialogue with individuals from diverse faith traditions.
With a deep passion for the history of Protestantism and the Sabbath, James has delivered numerous talks and presentations, sharing his discoveries about Sabbath observance throughout history. He specializes in uncovering rare, previously unseen documents, some of which have never been available online. His tireless pursuit of historical truth has led him to uncover invaluable records, offering fresh insights into the significance of the Sabbath.
Aaron Brude
Aaron serves as an elder in his local church and has taught Sabbath School, preached, and participated in evangelistic outreach for many years. As both a board member and podcast contributor for Heritage & Hope, he brings a thoughtful, Bible-centered perspective to our ministry. Passionate about sharing the Three Angels’ Messages, Aaron's service, experience, and dedication are a valuable asset to our team.
Dr. Brian Hustad
Brian has been active in church life from an early age, including service as a deacon. Multiple mission trips have shaped his ministry journey, with a medical mission at age 16 inspiring his path toward healthcare and ultimately earning his Doctor of Nursing Practice. Passionate about reaching people through the health message, both on and off screen, Brian serves as a board member and frequent podcast contributor for Heritage & Hope, bringing insight, compassion, and practical experience to our ministry.
Michael Godwin
Originally from Australia’s Gold Coast, Michael became a Seventh-day Adventist at the age of 33, bringing a fresh and valuable perspective to our podcast discussions. His love for the Lord, faithful witness, and practical skills have been an immeasurable support to Heritage & Hope. Michael currently serves as a deacon and assistant Bible study coordinator at his church and, in 2021, completed training in health ministry evangelism at Wildwood Health Institute.
